Designed for everything from daily chores to hiking, the SITKA Rover GTX LTH pull-on boot features waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX construction and a comfortable, sneaker-like fit. The Apex Tread System offers traction across varied terrain, while the full-grain leather upper with protective mudguard overlay provides comfort, breathability, and durability.

We tested these boots while camping in Maine earlier in the year during some rainy conditions, and found them to be very comfortable, well-built, and, most importantly, fully waterproof (camping in wet, cold feet is never fun). However, we also liked wearing them on short hikes and when filming around muddy riverbanks. The fit was very good, although pulling them on for the first few times proved a bit of a struggle, as can be expected with a pull-on boot. Wearing thin, slippery socks helps with this, as do the front and rear finger loops. Overall, a very rugged, simple boot that’s ideal for wet outdoor activities where a taller boot isn’t needed.
