Take a trip along the lower Connecticut River as it flows past East Haddam, Chester, Deep River, Old Lyme and Essex and into Long Island Sound. This episode samples the river through camping on the Connecticut River Paddlers’ Trail and Selden Island Preserve, kayak-fishing for big striped bass with Black Hall Outfitters, and a kayak ecotour of the sprawling Great Island Marsh system.
