We tested the Smartwool Intraknit 200 Pattern Base Layer Crew Top base layer on a few recent outings, and give it a big thumbs up. The top features “3D knit construction,” which results in a better fit and allows for a “cleaner” blend of different materials in certain body areas. Technical jargon aside, the top kept us comfortable and dry while hiking and paddling, and we really liked its fit and light weight.
