Rangeley, Maine, Birding Trail Preserved

The Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust has announced the recent preservation of the Mingo Springs Birding Trail, adding more than 100 acres of conservation land within Rangeley, Maine. In addition to being a critical meadow and edge habitat for migratory and boreal birds, this property is also home to deer and other species, as well as several large lupine fields.

Over 90 species of birds have been observed on the Mingo Springs Birding Trail, which is accessible within a five-minute drive of downtown Rangeley.
