Fat-Tire Bike Race

The 8th Annual Rangeley Fat Bike Loppet will be held January 29, 2023, in Rangeley. The event will offer multiple races for both women and men, including 8-mile-long short courses and 16-mile, age-ranked long courses. Visit the Rangeley Fat Bike Loppet for more information and to register.

Rangeley Winterpaloozah! 

Also in Rangeley is the 8th Annual Winterpaloozah!, set for February 19, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Haley Pond Park. This “old-timey” winter celebration centered on the frozen pond (conditions permitting). Feature activities include horse-and-wagon rides, a cardboard-sled race, ice skating, saucer bowling, pond hockey, curling, snow golf, snow kiting, sledding, snow-castle building, a campfire-and-marshmallow roast, hot chocolate, and much more. Admission is free, but there are also pay-to-enter competitions, including a Dog Keg Pull, a Firewood Toss, and Buoy Ball, with prizes awarded.
