Most people don’t associate the outdoors and nature with this former industrial hub on the southeast coast of Massachusetts, but do a little digging and you’ll find some surprises! This episode highlights paddling on South Watuppa Pond, fishing for big striped bass in the Taunton River, biking the South Coast Bikeway, sailing with the Sail Rec community sailing program, and mountain biking through Copicut Woods.

This episode takes you on a hike to beautiful Arethusa Falls in the White Mountains National Forest, followed by a visit to a remote mountain pond that’s home to wild brook trout. Wrapping things up is a hike up Barren Mountain in the One Hundred Mile Wilderness and a visit to the towns of Abbot and Monson, with some paddling on Lake Hebron.
